Features
Out of office, managed.
Everything Oofly does to keep automatic replies right across your Microsoft 365 organisation: who is out, who can set what, and a record of every change.
01Who's out
Everyone's absence, one list.
- Today and ahead
- See everyone with an automatic reply switched on now, and everyone with one booked for the weeks ahead, with the dates and the reply itself.
- Filters that help
- Narrow the list by department, office or group, so a manager sees their own team and reception sees the building.
- Straight from Microsoft
- The list comes from each person's real mailbox settings, so it is right even when someone set their reply in Outlook themselves.
- Only what your role allows
- Administrators see the whole organisation, delegates see the people they have been given, and members see their own reply.
02Set a reply
Person, words, dates.
- Three steps
- Pick the person, choose a template or write the words, set the dates. Oofly writes the reply into their Microsoft 365 mailbox settings.
- A preview first
- See exactly what senders will receive, with every field filled in, before anything changes.
- Colleagues and everyone else
- Send one message to people in your organisation and another to outside senders, or keep replies to colleagues only.
- No passwords, no laptops
- Nobody needs to sign in as someone else or borrow their computer. Oofly sets the reply on the mailbox directly.
- Switch off early
- Back sooner than planned? Turn the reply off in one click, or change the end date.
03Templates
Your wording, every time.
- House templates
- Write replies for annual leave, sick leave, parental leave, training or travel once, and use them for everyone.
- Fields that fill themselves
- Use {{firstName}}, {{returnDate}}, {{coverName}} and more. Each person's details and dates drop in for you.
- Kind to sick leave
- A short, neutral template for when someone is unwell, so nobody has to explain more than they want to.
- Consistent and on brand
- Every reply from your organisation sounds the same, whoever sets it.
04Delegation
Hand it to the right people.
- By person
- Let an assistant look after a director's reply, or a team lead look after their own team.
- By Entra group
- Give HR or a department manager a whole Entra group. When people join or leave the group, what the delegate can manage follows.
- Nothing beyond the brief
- A delegate only ever sees and sets replies for the people they have been given.
- Team roles
- Owners and administrators manage the connection, templates, delegates and the team. Add or remove administrators from the portal.
05Self-service
Members look after themselves.
- Their own reply
- Everyone in your organisation can sign in with their work account and set their own reply with your templates.
- No settings to find
- No digging through Outlook options on a phone the night before a holiday.
- On by default
- Self-service is included for every member, and administrators can switch it off.
06Scheduled
Starts and stops on time.
- Booked ahead
- Set a reply weeks before a holiday or a period of leave. Microsoft switches it on and off on the dates you choose.
- Nothing left running
- Every reply has an end date unless you choose otherwise, so nobody is still out of office a month after they are back.
- Your own time zone
- Scheduled start and end times are entered in your own time zone, so 9am means 9am where you are.
07Audit log
Every change, recorded.
- Who, whose, when and what
- Each reply set, changed or switched off is logged with the person who did it, the mailbox, the time and the wording.
- Settings too
- Changes to templates, delegates, roles and the Microsoft 365 connection are recorded as well.
- For administrators
- Owners and administrators can read the log at any time from the portal.
Try it on your organisation.
